
Healthy turkey salad recipe
This healthy turkey salad recipe that is dead easy to make, low in carbs and great for the immune system.
Ingredients
For the Dressing
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 1 clove Garlic Minced
- 1/4 cup Tahini
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Honey
For the Salad
- 1 Red Bell Pepper Thinly sliced
- 1 Carrot Finely grated
- 3 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
- 1 lb Cooked turkey breast sliced
- 1 cup White cabbage Shredded
- 1 cup Red cabbage Shredded
- 6 Radishes Sliced finely
- 1 cup Bean sprouts
- 3 Green onions Sliced finely
- 4 tbsp Coriander Roughly Chopped
- 1/3 cup Almonds Roughly Chopped
Instructions
- Prep all the veg by washing and peeling as required. Shred yourcabbage and slice the turkey to your liking. Slice the peppers, onions andradishes and grate your carrot. Roughly chop the coriander and almonds.
- Combine all salad ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Prepare the salad dressing by combining all the dressingingredients until nice and creamy
- Drizzle the salad dressing over the salad and toss to coat. Serve immediatelyor refrigerate until required.
Notes
Sesame seeds are a good source of several nutrients crucial for your immune system, such as zinc, selenium, copper, iron, vitamin B6, and vitamin E.
